Dobryshkin's hat-trick wasn't enough
Game Recaps: Severstal - CSKA, Dinamo - Mechel.
OCT.15 -- Yuri Dobryshkin displayed at will his explosive offensive skills for the second straight game. On Sunday Thrashers' prospect had a goal and three helpers as his team gunned down Amur 8-2. Tonight Dobryshkin exploded for three goals, but still it wasn't enough for his team to defeat Moscow's Red Army Club. Cherepovets had to settle to a three all tie, wasting the two-goal lead late in the third period. Sergei Luchinkin scored the equalizer a bit over four minutes left to play in regulation.
After unsuccessful start to the season Viktor Tikhonov's CSKA is on fire going 2-1-1 in it's last for games.
At the Luzhniki Arena in Moscow Zinetula Belyaletdinov's Dinamo defeated Mechel 4-1. Alexander Ovechkin's unsuccessful play in recent matches landed him on the fourth line. Ovechkin appeared on the left to Denis Kartsev and Alex Yunkov and had quite limited ice-time.
Among the best players on ice was Colorado's draftee Yuri Babenko. He tallied late in the first period sending the puck to the top corner of the net and set up Alexander Zhdan's third period goal.
Alexander Savchenkov got the game winner at 2:46 of the second period.-- Russian Hockey Insider
